Kestrel  Pitch

Kestrel pitch is exclusively hired by one family  group or group of friends at a time .  It has two  accommodation units on it:. The cost of the pitch varies depending on whether one tent or both tents are booked .  Either way  the pitch  (and it's bathroom) will not be shared by other people.

The accommodation:

Kestrel is a  5 meter  yurt , situated on its own deck area.

Hobby tent is a 6 meter bell tent

Each accommodation has a double bed and two singles, a wood burning stove to keep you warm, and electric lights.  They come equipped with USB ports and the kitchenware necessary for al fresco dining.  it has easy access from the deck to the private shower room  (which has a shower, toilet and sink), the washing up area and fridge.  It has its own dining shelter, with table and benches, a n electric table top two ringed hob, and cooking pots and utensils. Outside the yurt there is seating on the deck and a BBQ area and firepit near by.

 Each tent comes with a log box, including firelighters, kindling and about 8 logs to get  you started.  Re-fills of log baskets can be purchased on site. 

Kestrel  and Hobby are positioned within a large pitch that looks out on the Smith Hall wildflower meadow and the fields and hills beyond.  From the comfort of your tent you can watch the world go by and watch the wildlife.
